Today, Dec 30, we released a nice 120 lb. Blue caught with a 3 lb. tuna as live bait. That is two Blue Marlin in the past two days. Fishing in Kona remains excellent. In the past three days, 2 Blue Marlin and 5 mahi mahi. Something for everyone now in Kona. Something big to fight..and great eating fish also.

225 lb. Blue Marlin today!
225 lb. Blue Marlin landed today! Rick Schuh from Santa Barbara, California took his first big game fishing charter today on HighNoon. Didn’t take long for Rick and his party to get lucky as a nice 225 lb. Blue Marlin inhaled the short corner lure and after a 30 minute struggle, we finally boat a nice Blue Marlin estimated at 225 lb. More later…
David Gates almost gets a clean sweep.
David Gates from Fernando, Florida almost completed a “clean sweep” today while fishing on HighNoon. First, Dave landed a nice 90 lb. Ahi. Then after losing a 200 lb. Blue Marlin which came off, Dave then landed both a Mahi Mahi and a Wahoo. An early Christmas present for Dave, Congratulations!

David Gate)s from Fernando Beach, Florida just landed a 120 lb. Ahi (Giant yellowfin tuna). Late December is a very slow time for Ahi, so this was an early Christmas present for Dave and his buddies.
Mahi Mahi for dinner
Yesterday, we landed two Mahi Mahi and just missed a Blue Marlin bite. Fishing continues to be pretty good with Blue Marlin, striped Marlin and Mahi Mahi being the main catches.
