Jesse Wallace from Glendale boats nice Mahi Mahi-The Mahi Mahi fishing picks up steam in November!

Jesse Wallace and his friend, Thatcher Thornburg from Glendale, California chartered HighNoon for a half day charter.  While everyone wants to hook a blue Marlin while in Kona, Jesse really hoped to catch something good to eat for he and his family and friends. The Mahi Mahi fishing has been steadily improving as we move into the winter fishery, and today Jesse landed a nice 25 lb Mahi Mahi which he took back to their condo for some great eating tonight.

Tim Thomas and family from Colorado catch 4 Mahi Mahi

Started the morning a little slow but that all changed quickly when a single Mahi Mahi grabbed one of our lures and was shortly in the boat.  We set back up and made another pass in the area when another Mahi appeared and missed our lure.  I figured there was something in the area when I spotted a net that had a few Mahi Mahi hanging around.  Along with the Mahi a lone shark was circling the net which made the Mahi a little spooked but we still managed to get a few.  Great day on the water with a great family.
