Latest Updates fishing on the High Noon

The Mahi Mahi and Ono are starting to show up. Overall, the fishing in Kona during late September is for Blue Marlin, Mahi, Ono and Ahi Tuna.

High Noon has been busy the last few weeks as Mahi Mahi and Wahoo have started to come into the waters off Kona, Hawaii.  We been fortunate to have had some amazing fun clients making the days out on the water a blast.

We are quickly getting into our live bait season and have had a few nice ahi show up as well.

Another great day on board High Noon Fishing Charters

We were honoured to be apart of Justin and Megans first blue marlin and deep sea fishing experience! They were visiting us all the way from Alberta Canada doing a 4 hr charter when we hooked up to a 150lb marlin! Justin did an amazing job bringing this fish to the boat! We look forward to fishing with them again!

September is Still Biting

Aloha from HighNoon charters

September has only begun and the reports of not only larger fish being caught but numbers as well.

The fleet are seeing some days 5 to 9 fish this is amazing!

The water temp is still averaging around 80 degrees and the currents still strong, so both the North and South side of Harbour are getting bit.

The shibi’s are starting to show up as well as MahiMahi…

With the opening of SouthWest air flights to Kona are very inexpensive and this time of year accommodation is available and affordable.
