High Noon Charters Sept 9 2019

Another great day on board High Noon Fishing Charters

We were honoured to be apart of Justin and Megans first blue marlin and deep sea fishing experience! They were visiting us all the way from Alberta Canada doing a 4 hr charter when we hooked up to a 150lb marlin! Justin did an amazing job bringing this fish to the boat! We look forward to fishing with them again!

September is still firing and we have a few spots left towards the end of the month…

With flights coming in daily and accommodation in low season now is the time to come fish with us!

Three Mahi Mahi for honeymoon couple.

Dave and his new wife Kristen from New York were recommended by friends and booked HighNoon for a half day adventure. David said he wanted to catch a marlin, but anything would do. We set out into the pacific in search of anything that would bite. 20 minutes into the trip we got a call from a friend that said he was on a little floater which had a few mahi mahi hanging around it. We headed in his direction and on our first pass we hooked a nice mahi. They wouldn’t eat lures after that so we switched to bait and managed to get a few more. Beautiful day, beautiful water, and beautiful couple. We wish them the best of luck and hope to see them again.

Here is a little video of catching one of the Mahi Mahi on live Bait.

Brendton’s from Connecticut catch Mahi and Ono.

Alan and his wife Gina from Connecticut booked HighNoon for full day in search for Ono and Mahi. We started out the first half of the trip for Ono. We went one for five. After the tide change we went out to the deep to see if we might be able to run something over. Just our luck, we hooked up to a nice Mahi Mahi. Great day on the water thanks Alan and Gina.

Dennis from Texas tags 300lb Blue Marlin

We had a group of five from the NCL cruise ship join us on the HighNoon today for a four hour adventure. About half way through the charter something huge slammed theĀ  short corner bait. Dennis Schmidt from Round Rock, Texas got in the fighting chair. After a nice twenty minute fight we had a 300 b Blue Marlin on the side of the boat. Great job Dennis.

519 lb Blue Marlin on half day.

Sybil and Brian from California decided to go fishing while they visited Hawaii. They looked around for a boat and decided to go with HighNoon for a half day fishing adventure. First thing Sybil said when she stepped on the boat was “I want to catch a marlin”. We told her that was sort of our specialty and that we were going to do everything we could to get her that fish. 20 minutes out of the harbor out stinger rod comes down but doesn’t do much. Not sure what was on we reeled it in to see that it was a small spearfish. Woohoo for a clean release. We set back up and about thirty minutes later the long rigger comes flying out, and we were on again. Brian slides in the chair and starts reeling. Within minutes we have a beautiful Mahi Mahi (dorado) on the boat and in the fish bag. If that wasn’t enough, with less than twenty minutes left, we hooked up to a 519.5lb Blue Marlin. It was a team effort between Sybil and Brian but we eventually got it to the boat. What a great crazy day.
